The fight was already set, and now the venue is set. It will take place at the storied Madison Square Garden on February 27th. The fight will also be shown on HBO.
Many thought Crawford would get a shot at Pacman, but as Pacman heads into boxing retirement, there is not a chance he would want to enter into the ring against one of the top fighters in the game.
Even though Crawford didn’t land the payday with Pacman, this should be a great fight as Lundy is a tough opponent. Bob Arum and Top Rank have said they might have Crawford fight 4 times this year after a slow 2015. Crawford was our boxer of the year, and Ring Magazine’s boxer of the year in 2014.
