Marvelous Michael Hatfield was in Philadelphia but who grew up in the Maine area of New England. The first event Hatfield covered was the Trinidad-Hopkins fight while working with Sports Illustrated way back in 2001. Hatfield doesn't use the nickname, Marvelous, but the Boxing Globe staff calls him that due to his love for Marvelous Marvin Hagler.
